Cardboard Hearts also offer a photo retouching service! I (Karissa) have had 5 years of experience using Photoshop, including short courses at Tafe QLD, and QANTM college detailing its use.


Have you ever taken a photo that you just LOVE, but wish you didn't have that great big pimple? Perhaps your photo is washed out, with no contrast. Maybe you took some great photos that you want to display, but don't feel they have that professional look to them?
Or perhaps you found some photos from 1984 that could do with a bit of editing to make them clearer, brighter and maybe even remove scratches or dust.

I offer a handful of VERY reasonably priced packages to suit your needs!

Before you consider my service, please keep in mind;
- Photo must be in focus. I cannot fix a blurry out of focus photo.
- The image file must be bigger than 1000x1000 pixels. If you are unsure, please feel free to email me and ask!
- Scanned photos need to be scanned at 1200dpi or higher.
- The image must belong to you or you must have photographer's permission to edit.

Photos can be emailed to me (ensure that you are emailing the high resolution photos! Hotmail has "online albums" now that are great for emailing hi-res), or posted to me on a disc or USB.
I will return photos either by email, or post on a disc or your supplied USB (postage will cost extra).
If you have photos that need to be scanned, I can do that in my home at Kallangur, QLD at no extra cost, photos can be posted or dropped into my location. I take no responsibility for damaged property in the mail.

Packages;

Basic Retouch - $10 per image (digital images only)

- Fix brightness and contrast, give the image a pop.
- Red eye removal.
- Simple face retouch - sharpen eyes, remove blemishes (as per your request) etc.
- Can convert image to black and white or sepia at no extra cost.

Glamour Retouch - $12 per image (digital images only)

- Basic retouch (see above)
- Smooth skin, lighten wrinkles, fix makeup, fix uneven skin tones, whiten teeth etc. As per your request.
- Bring Subject into focus, making the background less noticeable.

Baby/Child Retouch - $11 per image (digital images only)

- Basic Retouch
- Remove redness, chin rashes, baby pimples, sores, mosquito bites, snot, drool, dirt etc.

 Old Photo Retouch - $15 per image (scanned photos)

- Basic retouch, where possible.
- Remove dust and scratches, as thoroughly as possible.
- Reduce noise
- Fix colouring (make yellowed images black and white, bring colour to faded images)

Make It Old! Retouch - $12 per image (digital images only)

- Basic retouch
- Selection of filters to make the image appear older or taken on a vintage camera - sepia, lomo, black and white, polaroid etc.
- Add fake dust and scratches
- Add photo borders
- Add lens flares and camera burns.

Batch Edit - $1.50 per image, must be 10 images or more. (digital images only)

- Basic brightness and contrast. giving each image a pop.
- Good for pictures from a party or wedding taken on a digital camera, making them more presentable for display in an album.
